The European launch of 3D White® Whitestrips was announced at an exclusive 3D White® Smile Event for fans and media held in partnership with Shakira in Barcelona on Saturday May 9th. The event, designed to help women maintain their beautiful smiles and empower them to engage more confidently with the world, saw Shakira talk about the power of a smile and featured three other inspiring women who each hosted masterclasses for media and fans.
During the day, make-up artist Caroline Barnes helped guests make the most of their beautiful smiles with make-up tutorials and expert tips; whilst philanthropist and founder of She's the First, Tammy Tibbetts, talked passionately about the importance of doing good as a multi-dimensional woman and her experience of uplifting entire communities by supporting education for women and girls. Celebrity dentist Dr Nancy Rosen, who believes a flawless smile is key to boosting confidence, gave guests the opportunity to be amongst the first in Europe to try 3D White® Whitestrips for themselves during her expert masterclass.
3D White® Whitestrips will be distributed in Europe by Henry Schein, the world's largest provider of health care products and services to office-based dental professionals. 3D White® Whitestrips in Europe will be available for purchase from dental offices. The first application will be performed by a dental professional, with consumers able to perform all subsequent whitening applications at home.
3D White® Whitestrips will launch initially in Poland, UK, Spain and Portugal with plans for wider roll out from 2016.
