Kristen Stewart is the leading lady of Woody Allen's Cafe Society, the Opening Film of the 69th Cannes Film Festival at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes on May 11, 2016.


Kristen is also the leading lady in Olivier Assayas' "Personal Shopper" which had it's world premiere at the Cannes on Tuesday May 17 and is in competition for the highly coveted Palme d'Or, the highest prize.
The Festival Director of Cannes Thierry Frémaux called Stewart "the queen of Cannes this year".
Kristen Stewart became the first American to win the CĂ©sar Award Award for best supporting actress at 2014 Cannes for Assayas' "The Clouds of Sils Maria".
