L'Oreal Wants to Change Golden Globes Red Carpet Talks


Hollywood actresses are sick of the casual sexism of red carpet chatter, and even big beauty brands are catching on. Over the past couple years, stars like Amy Poehler and Cate Blanchett have led a social media-fueled backlash against a perceived double standard in the kinds of superficial appearance-related questions award show interviewers pose to women versus the more substantive ones aimed at men. Following that lead, L'Oreal Paris is launching its own hashtag campaign at the Golden Globes red carpet this year called "#WorthSaying," which asks women to share tidbits about their careers, passions and anything else they think is worthwhile on social media.
