Meet Maryam Booth, Beauty Queen of #Kannywood, the film industry of northern Nigeria that started before #Nollywood of southern Nigeria.
The beautiful and wonderful young Nigerian actress is the daughter of the popular biracial actress, Zainab Booth, daughter of a Fulani woman who married a Scottish gentleman.
Maryam Booth, aka "Dijangala" is one of the most celebrated stars of Kannywood who has played leading roles in more than 20 movies so far. She started acting when she was only 8 years old and now at 24, she is already a diva and the CEO of Mbooths Beauty Palour, a brand ambassador, model, fashion designer, makeup artiste and accessories dealer.
She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Mantissa College in Malaysia; a diploma from Bayero University, Kano and currently doing her Masters in Project Management and Cinematography.
