Black Panther Projected To Make N1Billion in Nigeria

The African American superhero film, Black Panther has turned around the fortunes of the cinemas in Nigeria and cleared their debts.

The #Hollywood blockbuster movie has grossed over N600 million in Nigeria since it was released on February 16, 2018 and projected to hit the N1billion mark before May as thousands of excited movie-goers are still going to the cinemas to see it. Tickets have been sold out every day.
The few cinemas in Africa's most populous country cannot accommodate the daily crowds of people demanding for the movie that has become the top-grossing superhero film of all time in North America; globally passing the US$1 billion box office mark in 26 days and staying on top for five straight weekends; the first first film to do so since James Cameron's “Avatar" in 2009 and 2010.

As of March 25, 2018, Black Panther has grossed US$630.9 million in the United States and Canada, and US$606.4 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of US$1.237 billion.

Black Panther has made the young director, Ryan Coogler the highest grossing African American filmmaker.

Will the part two be better?
