Elise Banks of Texas Crowned Miss International 2015

Elise Banks, 27, of Texas was crowned Miss International 2015 Saturday, August 1 at the annual Miss International Pageant. The three-hour event, held at the Moran Theater at the Times Union Center for Performing Arts in Jacksonville, Florida, featured 40 contestants from around the world competing in four categories, including interview, fitness wear, fun fashion and evening gown. As her platform throughout her reign as Miss Texas International and in partnership with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), Banks will promote mental health and emotional stability through her "Healthy Mind - Successful Life" training program geared toward middle and high school students.
