The most pathetic state of the intellectually insecure is that they don't have the intellect to know that they are intellectually insecure.
Imagine Aristotle finding himself in the midst of clones of cave men and women who cannot even read and he knows since they have not read his "Poetics", he has to bend backwards to communicate with them.
How can you discuss the essence of the romance of human existence with someone who is clueless about Shakespeare, Tolstoy and Soyinka?
Irrationality is the evidence of stupidity.
There is illiteracy and there is intellectual illiteracy or intellectual ignorance.
The most dangerous of homo sapiens are the humans without conscience and without shame. And they are the most common among Africans in Africa who even claim they went to school, but are not different from those who didn't go to school. And they are the most corrupt in Nigeria and the rest of Africa with their accomplices who are their beneficiaries. Crooks and rogues posing and posturing as smart people in their conceit and deceit but without any dignity, integrity and nobility in their dog eat dog society chronicled in one of my books, "In the House of 🐕 Dogs".
