SMOKING BANNED IN NOLLYWOOD MOVIES

The National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) has begun engaging with practitioners and stakeholders in the Nigerian movie and entertainment industry to enforce the law banning smoking in movies.

Then I should not show a character who drinks and smokes in the movie on the existential realities of life in the NIgerian society?

This directive is unrealistic and unacceptable in filmmaking.

What is next?
No drinking of alcohol in Nigerian movies?
No kissing in NIgerian movies?
No showing of couples and lovers making love in Nigerian movies?
