It was epochal and classy. Only a genial and likeable personality like Pharmacist (Barrister) Steve Okoronkwo could have attracted such galaxy gathering of professionals, captains of industry, businessmen, politicians, academics etc. And so, Sheraton hotel Ikeja, Lagos brimmed with the creme la de creme of the society on June 27, 2019 when Okoronkwo launched his insightful book, Principle of Pharmacy Practice in Nigeria.
Big players and stakeholders in the Pharmacy profession in Nigeria who graced the book launch said Okoronkwo’s Principle of Pharmacy Practice in Nigeria comes handy for Pharmacy students and practicing Pharmacists.
The book, they further stated, is a valuable manual for quality practice and study of the profession.
Okoronkwo who is the Managing Director and Chief Executive officer, CEO of Al-Tinez Pharmaceuticals Ltd explained that the book was a product of painstaking research.
The Awarding winning Pharmacist and legal luminary who is a Fellow of the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists and Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria radiated satisfaction and beamed with smiles as he went round to greet his guests.
Among the galaxy of enthusiastic faces at the book launch included major industry players. They came in their numbers to stand with one of their own: Chief (Dr) Obiora Chukwuka, Executive Chairman, Green life Pharmaceutical Ltd, Chief (Sir) Sam Ubachukwu, FPSN, CEO, MegaChem Nigeria Ltd and Chief (Dr) Poly Emenike CEO, Neros Pharmaceutical ltd.
Also not missing in the lineup were Chief Emma Umezinwa, MD, Geneith Pharma Ltd, Mr. Ingram Osigwe, MD, Full page international communications ltd, Mr. Emeka Ikwuagwu, Retail Sales Manager(Lagos North) Total Nigeria Plc, Bar. Okey Muomalu, Principal Partner, Maple Partnership Law Firm, Pharm, Are Popoola, MD/CEO Reals Pharm Ltd and Chief Patrick Chibueze, CEO, Bozac Continental Ltd represented by the Chief Operating Officer of the company.
There were also Chief Marcel Eze ,CEO Marc-Olivia Healthcare Ltd, Pharm(Sir) Ike Onyechi, MD/CEO, Alpha Pharmacy Stores Ltd and the fashionable Chief(Mrs) Stella Okoli, MON,OON, CEO, Emzor Pharmaceutical Ltd who chaired the launch.

Uzochukwu, Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and Prof.& Dr(Mrs) Walter Nwafia, Provost, College of Medicine, Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra state.
