Without a doubt, Ralph Nwadike is a Nollywood icon and a television idol.
Between the early 80s and late 90s, this doyen of script writing held Nigeria and the television world spellbound with his script writing from his days as script writer with NTA (Nigerian Television Authority) taking charge of Super programs like The Village Headmaster, Second Chance, The Masquerade, Tele movies and more. Ralph wrote and produced run-away success soap-operas, Fortune, Mega-Fortune and Palace. He had become a historic figure even before Nollywood was born.
Ralph stormed Nollywood fully equipped as a writer, producer and director.
He has since produced over 25 movies financed by his own company.
Some of these movies are Contractors, Asylum, Magic Moment, Camouflage, Body of Vengeance, Armageddon King, etc.
Ralph is the Producer of Most Wanted, Nigeria’s first film to sell over a million copies starring Regina Askia, IbinaboFiberima, Ayo Adesanya, Genevieve Nnaji, and BisolaFadayomi.
ON EMPOWERMENT
It was Ralph who discovered Nigeria’s biggest female act Genevieve Nnaji. He discovered IbinaboFiberisima (AGN President), Regina Askia, Liz Benson,Ayo Adesanya, FolukeDaramola, Blessing EffiomEgbe, Dolly Onachukwu, and many more female Stars.
Ralph discovered Ramsey Nouah, Pat Attah, Emeka Ike, Ernest Obi, Femi Brainard, FunshoAdeolu, JaykeAenan, OkeyBakasi, and the late J.T Tom West.It was Ralph Nwadike that gaveSegun Arinze, and Paul Obazele their first major Break in television.
ON MUSIC
Ralphis a man with a large heart who gave the sight challenged Music MaestroCobhamsAsuquo , a music studio to work in as well as master his act, with a roof to lay his head under when nobody believed in him; Encouraging a large number of young musicians to perfect their acts and work in his music studio for free.
A DEDICATED AMP MEMBER
In the last 15 years, Mr. Nwadike has remained one of the most consistent faces at AMP meetings.
He is humble, peaceful and very much a team player. He has contributed to deliberations at meetings and has remained financially active in the affairs of AMP.
He is loved, admired and respected for his calm, humble and cheerful attitude. He has the sterling qualities of a great leader.
VISION FOR AMP
Mr. Nwadike promises to take AMP to the next level through some basic steps he will take. These include:
1. Taking AMP to the corporate world to form a strong alliance that will bring sponsorship of AMP events.
2. Reviving the Health Insurance Scheme for AMP members through partnership with corporate organizations.
3. Creating a forum for executives of state chapters and national executives to meet quarterly to work on ideas that will grow the association nationwide.
4. Ensuring that state chapters are in weekly communication with the national excos to ensure that these states benefit from all opportunities available to AMP.
5. To source funds that will become a pool for AMP members to take short- term loans for production. AMP members needs to start producing movies and soaps now!
6. Mr. Nwadike in his personal capacity has already begun discussions with Major financial institutions in the country and will ensure that all qualified AMP members will get loans for movies and soap operas

7. Development of Welfare Fund. Mr. Nwadike is already talking with some corporate bodies to join a partnership through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by contributing a token to AMP. This fund which is expected to rise up to N30 million should serve as a Welfare Loan or Emergency Care Loan to be given to members on short term basis to deal with emergencies.
8. Reconciliation of Disputes. Mr. Nwadike will work with all his strength and wisdom to bring back all aggrieved AMP members to a common table to address their grievances and ensure full reconciliation to make AMP one big family.
