David Oyetokunbo Oyelowo is Martin Luther King, Jr. and Carmen Ejogo is his wife Coretta Scott King in Ava DuVernay 's highly acclaimed American historical drama "Selma" based on the 1965 Selma to Montgomery voting rights marches led by James Bevel,Hosea Williams, and Martin Luther King, Jr.
"Selma garnered four Golden Globe Award nominations, including Best Motion Picture – Drama and Best Director and Best Actor for Oyelowo and he has already won the 2014 African-American Film Critics Association's Breakthrough Performance Award for Best Actor, http://variety.com/exec/david-oyelowo/.
"Selma" will open at the cinemas in the United States on Christmas Day 2014 and will open worldwide from January 9, 2015.
Paramount Pictures will distribute Selma in the United States and Canada.
