Nia Franklin, Miss New York, won the 2019 Miss America pageant in a difficult year for the Atlantic City institution. Here’s what she had to say before and after her crowning. She even sang us a song.


The annual Miss America pageant took place Sunday night in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and Nia Franklin of New York took home the coveted title and crown.
