The 9th Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) with the theme "AFRICA ONE" held last Saturday April 20, 2013, at the Gloryland Cultural Center in Yenagoa, capital of Bayelsa State. The event was co-hosted by Nollywood diva Dakore Egbuson, comedian Ayo Makun, Adjetey Anang and Ama K Abebrese British/Ghanaian television presenter and actress who won AMAA Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2011.
