Only Few People in Nollywood Have the Intellectual Curiosity To Think Outside the Box

Intellectual comprehension is a big problem in #Nollywood, because of the poor intellectual abilities of many of the actors, filmmakers and marketers.
That is why they are producing the same teleplays with the same storylines and only giving them new titles.

Only few of them can sit down with you and have an intellectual discussion on the characterisation of the nuances of life beyond the pedestrian observations of daily life.
You wonder if they are afraid or lazy to make films to compete with their counterparts at the major international film festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, Venice and Toronto. Only few have competed for the coveted prizes at major international film festivals.
Even when they make films on great subjects, they only end up with poor interpretations of the subjects without good screenplays. Their dialogues are often flat.

They like you when you flatter and lie to them to boost their egos for bragging rights. But they become nasty when you tell them the truth that does not favour them. They even threaten your life for saying the truth!
That is why they like sycophants in the Nigerian press. They pay the journalists to flatter them and live in denial of the realities of their shortcomings. They prefer their lifestyles of conceit and deceit.

Only few of them have the intellectual curiosity to think outside the box. But they are not popular with the crowds of sycophants in Nollywood.
