Love Gives Us the Reason To Live in Peace: My Essay on Love for Peace on Earth

Image
Don't make me wait even a second to show you how much i love you. Because to love you is the reason for me to live. So i want to love you with every breath. Where there is no love there is no peace. The most violent people are often those who have never been loved. So, they hate to love, because they have not known the beauty of true love which is the true essence of life. Children born in love are happier, healthier and stronger than those born without love. The innocent children born from unwanted pregnancies by lovers in lust and not in love. Abandoned innocent children by mothers who did not love to have them. Führer Adolf Hitler came from such precarious circumstances and grew up with more bitterness than happiness. It is best not to have any relationship with someone you don't love and cannot be happy with. You see parents screaming and swearing at their innocent children who never asked to be born only to be suffered gladly. If you cannot give the best you h...

Happy Birthday Eze Festus Odimegwu

Image
61 GARLANDS FOR A CZAR —Eze Festus Odimegwu at the age of New Beginnings. ~ By Ingram Osigwe Many people go through life without attaining the purpose of their existence. Yet within the bounds of time and chance, limiting the ability of man to determine his own destiny, some people by mere dint of hard work, diligence integrity and depth of vision, manage to elevate the gift of natural intellectual endowment given to all men in varying measures, to the echelon of genius thus attaining a level of actualization and achievement that is almost superhuman. Festus Odimegwu is one such rare genius. As he celebrates his 61ST anniversary this year, one could not but marvel at the life of this super achiever. Eze Festus Odimegwu was born on August 6, 1953, in Aba, currently in Abia State of Nigeria. He started his primary education in Christ the King School, CKS, in Aba, but it was interrupted by the Civil War, for three years. His parents had to relocate back to his village, Umuoka Ubir...

Christ Embassy: Where is the Love?

Image
I have promoted Yookos professionally and I am happy that it is fast becoming Africa's largest social network site. And in appreciation, I have the link to Yookos on my popular blog Nigerian Times. But Christ Embassy must prove that it is a true Christian church beyond the media hype. Because, I have seen strange cases of neglected members of the church. The church that is happy to collect offerings and tithes should also be happy to help and support their members in need as Jesus Christ clearly preached and practiced and written in Matthew 7 and 25 of the Holy Bible. True Christians practice what they preach. But is it not strange that Christ Embassy could not provide temporary accommodation for a member who eventually found a kind Muslim elder to accommodate her in Lagos? And another regular member of Christ Embassy in Apapa who is ill complains that none of the members of the church is coming to help him even though they know that he has just started work and is yet to be ...
