Waiting for Netflix, Waiting for Godot in Nollywood

Waiting for #Netflix, Waiting for Godot in Nollywood

There are several filmmakers in #Nollywood waiting for Netflix who should read "Waiting for Godot" by Samuel Beckett in which two characters, Vladimir (Didi) and Estragon (Gogo), waited for Godot, who never arrived.
Is it not coincidental that Didi and Gogo are also Nigerian native names?

Netflix is not DStv Nigeria or Ibakatv for what my mother called "Ijeweaghara" movies.
"Ijeweaghara" is the Igbo language name for what does not count or bad quality products which you dump behind you.

Thank Almighty God Dolby is now in Nigeria to improve the quality of sound in Nigerian movies. But there are many filmmakers in Nollywood and #Kannywood who should see Tunde Kelani's masterpiece, "Ti Oluwa Ni Ile". The cinematography is A+. Majority of the filmmakers in Nollywood and Kannywood don't know what is cinematic lighting.
Do you know that you can use lighting to tell a great story of awesome cinematic moments without dialogue?

Before fasting and praying and waiting for Netflix to buy your " Ijeweaghara", movies , do your homework and learn the craft and science of filmmaking and make a good movie of international quality that will attract Netflix without any of your solicitations.
Whatever is worth doing at all is worth doing well

See the Big Picture and Cheers all the way to the Top.
