The Countries Gaining And Losing The Most Millionaires Which countries expanded their millionaire clubs the most over the past year? According to a new report from Credit Suisse, the United States is still at the very top of the global league of millionaires by a massive distance. However, when it comes to the growth of millionaire populations across different countries, Japan is firmly in the lead. Japan is currently home to 2.8 million dollar millionaires (9 percent of the global total), 738,000 more than in 2015, according to Credit Suisse. The United States’ population of millionaires grew at a slower pace than Japan’s, increasing by 283,000 to 13.55 million over the past 12 months. Germany (+44,000), Taiwan (+27,000) and Italy (+11,000) also saw their millionaire communities expand over the course of the past year.

It is 3:58am in Lagos, Nigeria. I just woke up from a dream of seeing Steven Spielberg talking about a new film titled "Pretty Little Things". That was all I saw in my dream. Only Almighty God knows what this dream means. I have been a fan of Spielberg since I saw "ET", his 1982 phenomenal SciFi film decades ago. And that even inspired me to write a short science fiction titled "AC" for Alien Creature. I wonder why Spielberg did not make sequels of "ET". That awesome extra terrestrial creature ought to have returned by now and see the world has changed since his first visit. This time ET will be on CNN and connect back home with Virtual Reality (VR).

According to the National Retail Federation, an estimated 137.4 million people are planning or considering shopping during this year’s Thanksgiving weekend. The splurge reaches its zenith on Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year, when Americans spend billions getting a head start on their holiday shopping. Interestingly, however, the majority of holiday shopping still happens in December.
