When the Starlight Ends Wins at the Other Venice Film Festival

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The fantasy dramedy WHEN THE STARLIGHT ENDS screened last weekend at the Other Venice Film Festival and helmer Adam Sigal won "Most Excellent Feature Film Director," Sam Heughan won "Best Feature Film Actor" and Arabella Oz won "Best Feature Film Actress."

The film stars Outlander's Sam Heughan and Newcomer Arabella Oz and was written and directed by Adam Sigal and produced by Armory Films and Primary Wave Entertainment who cast clients David Arquette and Sean Patrick Flanery.


The movie is about an eccentric writer (Sam Heughan) who must choose between his work and the love of his life played by Arabella Oz. Looking back, he reflects on whether he has made the right decision.

The film played at four sold out screenings, after the two screenings initially scheduled sold out within 20. The film swept all three major film festival awards.

In attendance at the festival was America's Doctor and television personality Dr. Mehmet Oz, who said the following about the movie and his daughter, "I am thrilled to finally see why everyone is so excited about this provocative film and seeing the Arabella in action put me over the moon."
