An Evening with the Icon, Femi Odugbemi hosted by Terra Kulture, the most vibrant cultural centre in Lagos last Sunday, November 13, 2022 at #1376 Tiamiyu Savage Street on Victoria Island. 



It was an unforgettable evening to unwind, dine and wine with distinguished personalities in the creative Industry of Corporate Nigeria such as veteran TV broadcaster and actress, Mrs. Bimbo Oloyede; Tunde Kelani, Mahmood Ali-Balogun, Steve Gukas, President of the Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN) Victor Okhai, Mrs. Iyaabode Aboaba, the Chief Operating Officer at Freedom Park on the Lagos Island and Mrs. Bolanle Austen-Peters, outstanding award winning filmmaker, theater producer and cultural entrepreneur who is the Founder and Artistic Director of BAP Productions and owner of Terra Kulture.


The event celebrated Femi Odugbemi who is of the rare breed of few people who are amiable, credible, humble and noble in Nollywood and the Nigerian film described as a force to reckon with locally and internationally for his outstanding accomplishments as filmmaker, photographer and writer.

He the Founder/Executive Producer of Zuri24 Media, a content production company in Lagos and Co-founder and Executive Director of the annual iREP Documentary Film Festival in Nigeria. Academy Director, West Africa, MultiChoice Talent Factory (MTF) from 2018-2021.

He has also been appointed to head juries of international film festivals and awards, including being 4-time Head of Jury of the prestigious AMVCAs - the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards and 3-time Head Judge of the Uganda Film Festival.

He is a voting member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) and also a voting member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (Emmys). He is one of the few filmmakers in the continent who is elected to both the Film and TV international academies.

He has won several awards in Nigeria and other countries.
