Bong Joon-ho Wins the 2019 Palme d'Or for "Parasite".
He is the first south Korean winner in the history of the annual Cannes Film Festival.
First African female filmmaker to qualify for the competition in Official Selection of the annual Cannes Film Festival becomes the first black female filmmaker to win an award by winning the Grand Prix for her intriguing "Atlantique".
