Nothing is Free on the Internet

Nothing is Free On the Internet

I have ignored using both #WhatsApp and #Telegram, because I don't need them.

#Instagram and #Facebook are good for social media communication and publicity, because you can use them for public relations, advertising and marketing promotions.
Why I am on Instagram and Facebook is in appreciation of the awesome philanthropy of the Cofounder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg who has given more than half of his wealth to charities.

On December 9, 2010, Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, and investor Warren Buffett signed "The Giving Pledge", in which they promised to donate to charity at least half of their wealth over the course of time, and invited others among the wealthy to donate 50 percent or more of their wealth to charity.

The best to me is Google that has made many ordinary people into millionaires, including 6-year-old Ryan of #YouTube's Ryan ToysReview who made over US$11 million in revenue last year from his YouTube account, according to Forbes.
YouTube made Nigeria's Jason Njoku of  #iRoKOtv a multimillionaire from having only less than N100 in his bank account in 2110 to making millions of dollars in 2014!
“My wife persuaded me to do a little spring cleaning this weekend. As I was going through my things, I came across this old account statement for an iROKO Partners Ltd bank account in London. If you look at the date its 13 July 2010. The statement is for June 2010. That’s right. £60.25 paid in. £60.00 (my feeding money) paid out. And an ending balance of £0.25. That’s right folks. I literally had £0.25 in my account that’s $0.42 or N63," said Jason Njoku.. And four years later the account is estimated to be US$30 million!
"I am Jason Chukwuma Njoku, Founder of iROKO. ... focused on the future, because that's the only way I can get to $100M in net worth."

YouTube is awesome , but without a good smart phone, you cannot make a cent on the platform. And Google can actually do more with YouTube.

No app is free as people will say WhatsApp is free.
It is not free.
Nothing is free on the internet.
WhatsApp uses your phone's Internet connection (4G/3G/2G/EDGE or Wi-Fi, as available) to send and receive messages.
So no internet, no show.
